According to the minister, some airlines did not receive approval because their originating countries have not begun to allow entry to tourist visa holders.
Sirika had previously said Nigeria would apply the rule of reciprocity in granting approval to foreign airlines.
International flights are scheduled to resume on September 5, 2020.Advertisement
