It’s the second installment of Godfrey Times African Rhythms (GTAR), and we’ve got a song for you that will remind some Colombians of their Champeta Rhythm, which is a descendant of African Rhythm.

This beautiful song by Zuhura Othman Soud, a Tanzanian singer best known as Zuchu, has earned a lot of love from countries like Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Cameroon, Nigeria, Peru, Japan, Colombia, the United States of America, and so on.

Some have described the song as something they can’t get enough of, while others have described it as a traditional men’s and couple’s song.

Enjoy the Rhythm and sounds of East Africa with Sukari this week on Godfrey Times African Rhythms (GTAR), and share your thoughts on the song in the comments section.
