LAGOS – ON SUNDAY, IT WAS A beautiful day of kingdom worship at El-Shaddai Salvation Family Ministries (ESFM), and the praise and worship segment led by the ESFM choir was a spectacular experience that inspired a member to thank God for her life with a testimony after reminiscing on how God saved her life thirteen years ago.

The truth is held fast and mercilessly exploited in this church to combat ignorance, beat down ego and pride that the members of ESFM may be harboring. And special gratitude to senior pastor Apostle Benson Enakhena, who, whether on or off the altar, is never without this truth.

The members attending the service may have expected Enakhena to preach on messages such as “Fire of God Over Your Enemies,” “The Blessings of God Must Manifest,” or perhaps “Miracles,” but Enakhena, who always follows the Holy Spirit’s lead, disappointed them with a message titled “The God of Relevance.”

Enakhena revealed a lot about capacity in this message, and how God’s children need to grow in it so that God can increase it for them.

The Word from Godfrey Times was in the ESFM church as usual, and here are some excerpts from the message.

You and I will not worship God today if he is irrelevant. As Christians, we are a reflection of God’s splendor. You are irrelevant if you are not displaying the glory of God.

If you are not available and are not missed at any particular position, you have lost your significance.

When you are hearing from God and seeing things, and then you stop hearing from him or seeing things, you are no longer spiritually relevant.

Your significance is determined by your capacity. And it is up to you to grow in your capacity. God just assists you in increasing your capacity. Didn’t the Lord declare, “I will bless the work of your hands,” or did he say, “I will bless the one who sleeps?” the Lord will not bless the hands of an idle man He said, “I will bless the work of your hand.” What exactly does that imply? You must have a certain amount of capacity. And you’ll be able to expand your capabilities. And now God will assist you in increasing your capacity. And if you are not expanding in your capability, there will come a time when you are no longer relevant. You must expand your capabilities. Spiritual capacity, marital capacity, and business or professional capacity.

As a Pastor, keyboardist, prayer warrior, teacher, preacher, or evangelist, you need to improve in your capacity in the church, in your department, so that the Lord will enable you to extend the capacity. What is the best way to expand this capacity? You increase your capacity by fasting, praying, attending seminars, reading, studying, and discussing the Bible, and the Lord will now assist you in expanding it.

Growing capacity is similar to a farmer who has purchased a piece of land. Your certificate isn’t enough to bring you out of poverty as a graduate. It’s only a tool, similar to a farmer’s tool. When you buy a piece of land, a cutlass, a hoe, and a bag of seed, you are not a farmer until you clear the ground, dig the soil, and plant the seed. Then the Lord will provide you with the water, as well as the nutrients and minerals that the soil and seed require. That is the Holy Spirit’s expansion.

Oh, how I wish for a miracle. What are your capabilities? What is your significance? What will God see in your hands if he wants to bless you right now? God doesn’t follow lazy people. Don’t be fooled by any pastor. Don’t stay in your current position. Expand your capabilities.

You must choose your friends as part of the process of increasing your potential. Your companion either raises or lowers your IQ. Know your counselor when it comes to increasing your capability and specialization. Friends that do not supply solutions to your difficulties should not be followed. Allow them to trail you. You follow others because others are following you. Don’t scare them off. You’re going down like a punctured tyre if you follow individuals who are lower than you instead of them following you.

Allow God to direct you as you develop your abilities, rather than directing yourself. You will make errors. When you’re looking for God, don’t make a decision before you’ve looked for Him. You’ll never hear from God again. God is not speaking to some of us because of sin, but because we made up our minds before seeking Him. You need to improve your thinking capability in your job, career, and even your marriage. Don’t think the same thing all of the time. Make a career research project. Pray for the success of your career. That is how you can expand your mental ability. Every year, you should assess how far you have progressed in increasing your ability. While you’re grading yourself on how far you’ve progressed in your capacity, don’t blame Mr. Y or Mr. A; blame yourself for the capacity you have, so that the hidden things within you might come forth and explode.

  • Increase your capacity of planning.
  • Increase the capacity of your execution.

There are some things you do and stay quiet about; you don’t need to inform anyone because it is irrelevant. If you do not improve your thinking, planning, and execution skills, you will eventually become analog.

Matthew 19:11

Some people are unable to absorb your capacity. That is why, as a prophet or a servant of God, you do not reveal the capacity of how God has provided the message to everyone you encounter. Some will kill themselves, while others will murder others.

When you know your capacity, there are some people you cannot work for. When you realize your capacity, there are some people with whom you will not be able to collaborate. There are some people with whom you shouldn’t discuss your level because they don’t grasp what you’re saying, where you’re coming from, or where you’re heading. You will begin to voice your opinion to those who look at you without saying anything, not because it is Spiritual, but because they realize your potential. You can’t flow with people who aren’t on your level. In the discussion’s voyage, there will be hiccups and gallop, as well as a pothole.

Matthew 25:15

God cannot give you above your capacity.

Know people’s capacity before you seek for counsel. .

Even if you’re a champion in your field, don’t stop there; expand your capabilities. Because someone is putting in more effort to pass you. Someone is working nonstop to depose you.

Increase your capacity of thinking even within your marriage.

Don’t be a naysayer. A complainer who witnesses other people’s mistakes will never be able to expand his or her potential. When you do that, you become a pure needle, stitching other people’s needles while neglecting your own. You’re wasting time instead of improving your capability by talking about others and killing yourself. And along the way to developing your ability, there will be individuals who will draw you down with words, advice, gossip, problems, and spiritually. You’ll be the one to say, “You can’t bring me down with this adversary.” You’re not going to bring me back with your nasty tongue, crisis. Your current capacity is not your ultimate goal or destiny. A complainant is powerless.
