LAGOS – In today’s world, the disunity in which we have immersed ourselves is a fact. And we go on about it as if we invented or built our own heaven somewhere, and we don’t give a damn what God says or thinks about the disunity that has happily settled in our midst. As if we could survive without the Trinity, which gave us life. The number one has been obliterated. It is no longer found in the church, community, society, or family. Competitiveness is at an all-time high in today’s family because there is no unity. There is a significant deal of disunity in many houses. The church of God, which is supposed to be a model of togetherness, is in fact fanning the fires of division. But, exactly, what is Unity? To a man, what does disunity imply? What happens if there is a disunity? What is the highest thorn that can be found in a man’s vineyard? What happens if there is disunity in your marriage?

“Unity is Power,” a word of God spoken by pastor Benson Enakhena, who asked his congregation, “What would happen to humanity if God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit were to split up?” provides answers to these and other issues.

Enakhena used Bible scriptures to teleguide his teaching, characterizing the lesson as something God gave him to tell his children.

The Word from Godfrey Times was at El-Shaddai Salvation Family Ministries, as usual, and we’ve gathered some excerpts here for our readers.

What is disunity if unity is power? You must unite your body, soul, and spirit in order to unite with others. To be in line with God’s word. Many Christians claim to be born again, but we are not united inside ourselves. When a man is unable to unite with his own spirit, he becomes a source of disunity wherever he goes or is found. He develops into a defiant.  He becomes an issue for society, the community, the church, and the family. Because he is incapable of self-control. And you’ll find such people performing D while quoting God’s word to A. You must bring your spirit into alignment with God’s. And a man who lacks the spirit of love cannot join to accomplish something good. It’s not that they can’t get started. Their mentality is similar to that of a chicken. When a chicken consumes a small amount of food, it will place its leg inside and scatter it.  And then go back to where it all started, scatter everything, and start eating again. Those are the people who have the spirit of disunity. 5:25 (Matthew) Not only did Jesus say it, but He also demonstrated it. When He was imprisoned on the Day of Judgment, He was bombarded with inquiries. Who will crucify Jesus if He answers those questions? Nobody. But he remained silent. You do not have to respond to every charge leveled against you. When God’s hand is at work, your mouth has the power to reverse God’s work. As a child of God, there are moments when you should remain silent and pray in the spirit. Allow God’s spirit to start speaking on your behalf. Allow God’s spirit to start fighting for you. Allow God’s spirit to begin to work things out for you. “I know it all” is not something a child of God can achieve. Are you up to date on everything?

A man with a spirit of divisiveness will constantly be stuck in the same place. They are those who come to church with a pen and paper to correct mistakes made in the temple of God. They will never see anyone’s nice qualities. They will say no, no matter how hard you try. If you give them the chance, they will be the worst.

They’ll come up with a thousand excuses why someone else won’t be heard. They consider themselves to be the best, but they lack honor. They are disobedient. They are possessed by a spirit of hatred. When you present them with your master plan, they will come up with a thousand reasons why it will fail. Because there is no love in a man who lacks the spirit of oneness. They are also devoid of faith. Nothing is valuable to a man who has a spirit of unity. Because charity goes hand in hand with unity. The word charity in the Bible refers to love. And love is not something that is done in public.

We must fight the spirit of divisiveness as a family, community, and church. 1:10 in 1 Corinthians

And there can be no success when there is division. There is no progress. The highest thorn that can be found in a man’s vineyard is disunity. There is no prosperity in a marriage where there is division.

Have you ever considered what would happen if God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit decided to split up? I’m not sure what will become of humanity. We need to talk as one mind and heart. As a congregation, a family, and a community. Today’s church is undermining a powerful force: disunity.

Disunity is the most powerful weapon Satan has to disorganize you and win you. When there is a lack of harmony, demons emerge. And when demons take hold, dread follows. And when fear takes hold, defeat follows. Allowing the spirit of disarray to enter you is never a good idea. You lose attention when you are disorganized. When Satan enters your home, he will induce terror by causing something strange to happen. But when Satan realizes you haven’t a shred of fear in you, he will vanish. Faith is the first weapon to use against Satan. If Satan doesn’t organize dissension, he won’t be able to defeat you.

Do you know the most difficult people to work with? People that don’t understand spiritual matters. It is very difficult to work with them. It takes the grace of God. Look don’t fight man when man is fighting you. Fight the spirit inside the man using the man. It is ignorance that makes you to fight the man fighting you. Be patient when demons are using someone to disunity to destroy. Be praying for the soul. Be praying for the person. When the demons disappears you will know the light of God upon that body. Jesus did not rebuke Peter, he rebuked the Satan that entered Peter to use him. I am shaping your spiritual understanding this very day. Unity must go with sympathy and brotherly love. When you begin to see everybody in a gathering looking at themselves as a Mr or Mrs perfect,  trouble is going to come in. No man is a perfect man. Before you condemn another look at yourself. Before you remove the mole in your neighbor’s eyes check your own. Remove the log in your own.

Do you have any experience working with the most challenging people? People who don’t have a spiritual understanding. Working with them is quite challenging. It is only through God’s grace that we are able to do so. Look, you shouldn’t fight a man who is fighting you. Fight the spirit within the man using the man. Ignorance is what drives you to fight the one who is battling you. When demons use someone to cause dissension in order to destroy, be patient. Keep praying for the soul’s salvation. Keep the person in your prayers. You will notice the light of God on that body once the demons have vanished. Jesus did not chastise Peter; rather, he chastised the Satan who had entered Peter in order to use him. This very day, I am forming your spiritual awareness. Unity must be accompanied by compassion and brotherly love. When everyone in a group starts looking at themselves as Mr. or Mrs. Perfect, conflict is bound to arise. There is no such thing as a flawless man. Take another look at yourself before you pass judgment.

3:8 (1 Peter)

Unity must be accompanied by compassion and brotherly love. What does it mean to sympathize? To lovingly put yourself in another man’s shoes. Whatever you do to a man, keep in mind that he, like you, has a family at home.

2:2 Philippians

The joy of a true leader is to create unity. If you’re chosen as a leader, in the family or in the church then you create a division, you are not a leader. You are a devourer.

The church would have been closed down all across the world by now if it hadn’t been for the Grace of the Holy Spirit. The Muslims are more united than the Christians. Something will happen in the mosque no one will hear it. No matter how close you are to them, you are not privileged to hear it. However, the church’s imagination spills out onto the streets. Remember that the church is Jesus’ wife.

I’m curious as to what you’re doing with your tongue. The tongue expands and contracts at the same time. It is up to you to decide how you want to use it.

13:11 (2 Corinthians)

We must come together to assist one another.Men who pull people down in your presence should be avoided. They will eventually drag you down. Men that pull the society down should be avoided. A man must carry the spirit of disunity until he is truly born again. They’re present in your family. They have the potential to become pastors, yet they sow the seeds of division. We won’t remove the altar. They scatter wherever they go or find themselves. The serpent’s first act when he arrived before Adam and Eve was to foment disunity between them and God. Because the serpent is the progenitor of disunity. Where they are coming from, trouble. Where they are, trouble. Where they are going to, trouble. Anywhere they are, crisis. Any word that proceed from their mouth, crisis. You cannot speak love when you harbour hatred in your heart.

3:14 (Colossians)

We must love each other in order to have a lasting unity. My personal definition of love is putting one’s own needs aside for the sake of another. How many Christians today are willing to inconvenience themselves for the sake of another? It’s difficult to inconvenience oneself for the sake of another. If I murder your son today, we’ll go to court, where they’ll tell you that you have the last say. Will you claim that even if this man has been sentenced to death, my son will not return, the judge should release him? That is self-inconveniencing for the sake of another. On the cross of Calvary, Jesus demonstrated this. He glanced at the people who were persecuting  him and pleaded, “Father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing.” Be cautious in every gathering you find yourself in; make sure you are not the source of discord. Make sure you’re not the one who’s causing the pull down. Because God is recording any pull down from you.

Jacob returned to Bethel because he understood what was best for him. When I was leaving, he added, “Here I found my God.” I’ve been on the move my entire life and have never been blessed, but when I met my God here and made a pledge to go and return, I was blessed. I return to my Bethel. And do you have any idea what happened to him this time? In another dimension, he rediscovered God. And God established him as a nation. You must know where you find your God.  And you must also know how you find your God.

1 Genesis 1:26-28

I once remarked that the Trinity met to create man in His own likeness and in His love, which is why God is still bringing man back to him. If you see a man with payback syndrome, you’re looking at the devil himself. They will always have a vengeful spirit.

4:6 (Ephesians).

When you’re driving and see a Christian on the road, you inquire as to which church he or she attends. You say you can’t help  since (s)he stated a church you don’t go to. Then a Muslim comes across the same individual you refuse to aid and offers him or her a ride. So, who exactly are you? Christ’s body is being divided. We must unite in order for God to descend down among us. Many marriages nowadays are failing because either the husband or the woman is carrying the wrong person.

A word from a true servant of God is greater than eight hours of prayer. A true servant of God. If he says God you are blessed. Don’t doubt carry that faith. In life, as you are going, know the people you carry along. Some tongues are sugarcane tongues, they will cause you high blood pressure. They are trouble. No matter how wealthy they are, let them go! No matter how influential they are, let them go!! No matter how powerful you think they are, let them go!!! If they don’t go, they become a problem. A thorn in your flesh. Sugar is sweet, bitter leaf is bitter but ask yourself, which one is better for your body?
