Nothing should give every christian more joy than this very divine privilege of worshipping the God who was, who is, and a God who will ever more will be. What joy is better than this? To be willing to worship the God who broke open the prison doors, divided the raging sea, and secured victory. It is because of this triumph that we are triumphant in today’s battles. This is a joy for which we should not be silent; it is a joy with which we should shout praises, for there is joy in the house of our God.

Just in case you’re always perplexed as to why we’re so happy? We serve a God who hears, who saves, and who always finds a way. This God transformed us from beggars to kings. He helped us go from being prisoners to being free.

On this foundation, we present ‘The House of the Lord,’ a wonderful song by Phil Wickham about the joy of the Lord’s house.

So shout out in praise with this song this week on Godfrey Times Worship (GTW), because there is plenty of joy in the Lord’s house.

Furthermore, our God continues to roll stones away.
