LAGOS, IKOYI —  The beauty about our strength is that we grow in it just as life grows and at the “I Love My Culture Concert”  by ARA, attendees of the event were so delighted to see that the drum goddess has upped the class in her performance owing to the growth of her drumming strength.

The Concert which was the season two of the initiative, had in attendance Bisi Olatilo, Keppy  Ekpeyong Bassey, Ngozi Nwosu, Yomi Fabiyi, Diaspora friends and some media personnel who watched in awe as the drum goddess thrilled with sounds from the drum world.

​​Like the season one, Sanmi Conga, Karkarkey percussion and Ayiki were valid episodes in this very season two as they joined in adding beauty to the exploration of the drum world with their masteries of the sophisticated instrument.

​​Held at the Alliance Francais Lagos (Mike Adenuga Centre), Ara in company of her sixteen-man band members, who were in their Regalia by Fal costume,  stood behind ARA  (as they have been doing with her for over two decades) on the stage which was readied for such a world class performance…sounds from the drums with the right energetic  feel teleguided  with a chant to startle you into the exploration took over the hall and in no time ARA, the drum goddess, who is familiar with the rhythms beat out from the drum world, move approvingly to join her band.​​


​​With her tool (the talking drum) in her possession, ARA carried on with beating culture-loving sounds to lead the already existing rhythms thrilling attendees of the “I Love My Culture Concert”, who danced to the excitement and feeling of love for our very own culture the uniquely deep sounds provided.​​


​​Before upping the thrill of her performance of class, the first female talking drummer reputed internationally, honored Nigeria with the talking drum version of the national anthem. Not waiting for the surprise that gave to go down, ARA brought back the adventurous thrill with a mastery she is very much identified with.
