The federal government of Nigeria is arranging student loan disbursement for September and October.

Wednesday, David Adejo, the permanent secretary of the federal ministry of education, reported to journalists in Abuja..

President Bola Tinubu signed the bill for interest-free student loans on Monday.

Adejo said the Nigerian Education Loan Fund would provide interest-free loans for higher education to those in need.

The permanent secretary referred to the measure as the “Higher Education Nigerian Bank”, which ensures higher education for all Nigerians.
