A time of test is a time of faith. No man can pass the test of God except by faith. No man can overcome the temptation of Satan except by faith. Hebrews 11:1 says “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” There are some key words here in this Bible verse. First of all, faith is not blind, it does not tell us to take a leap in the dark. Faith is assurance. Faith is a know-so and not just a hope-so. Hope is a conviction of we have not seen but we believe. It is like a magistrate or a judge, passing a judgement on a criminal. There is a conviction that this criminal has done these things. This criminal has actually killed before the judge can pass the judgement. By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God. So that what is seen was not made out of things visible.

The book of Romans 10:17 says “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. ” When you are passing through temptations and trials, what and who you listen to, determines the outcome of your solution…and the perfect solution to our problems is the word of God, which is Jesus…Jesus Christ is the word of God.

Let no man deceive you…grow your faith in the word of God. The bible says “Iron sharpeneth iron”. Be careful of the people you tell your problems when you are facing trials and temptations. Be careful of the kind of people you mingle with. Be careful of the kind of people you take councel from. Be careful of the kind of people you seek help from. Be careful of all that offers to give you help even when you do not ask for it. Focus on Jesus, look onto God. Love everybody around you but trust no one at the time of your need. Look up to Jesus. Faith proves to the mind the reality of things that cannot be seen by the bodily eye. Faith is the full approval of all God has revealed as holy, just and good. Without faith, no man can please God. Without faith, your Spirit cannot connect to God’s divine provision. Your faith helps you in the spirit to magnet God’s provisions.

Hebrews 11:6 says “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” My brethren, in faith, you must be diligent. Do you know what the Lord said in his word? He said: I know how to catch a con man. You cannot play being intelligent on God. You are seeking for a job, you are playing on God, telling him “I will serve you forever”, but after getting the job, you begin to act being intelligent towards God…you are only playing on your own intelligence…God is bigger than you. Even before God gave you that job or business, he already knew what you were going to do. You cannot be a thief claiming to have faith in God. You cannot be stealing, doing evil, fornicating, backbiting and be claiming you have faith in God.

Let me say something here today, When you start to pray and where you are getting money from begins to close down, Check yourself. Check that place you have been making that money. It may be from a wrong source. You may be making that money wrongly. But don’t give up hope. God is about to change your situation. He wants you to turn a new leaf so that he can clothe you in His glory. God cannot clothe you in shame, God cannot clothe his glory upon you when you are dwelling in sin, he wants you to change, that is why when you are praying…where you are getting money wrongly begins to close down. If you are praying and where you are getting money wrongly is improving, there is a problem somewhere.
