As a father, what you need most is Value. If you have not carried the seed of fatherly value you are valueless. But this word sometimes leaves us feeling kicked, empty, abandoned and wondering if it is worth it or if we are worth it. But God leaves no doubt on the tremendous value he placed on every human life, including yours. Yes you that is reading this message, you are not useless. You are useful, the seed of value is in you. Don’t allow temptations or conditions to push you into accepting emptiness. To accept failure. To accept defeat. Do you know why? In the book of Genesis 1:27 it says “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” Your value begins with the fact that you were made by the hand of the creator in his own very image.
God can never forget you, God cannot create emptiness. God cannot create failure. God cannot create disappointment. There’s a great value in you. He knows what he has deposited in you. All he needs from you is to recognize him in your life. When you recognize God in your life, the seed of value will automatically start to germinate. If you keep the relationship, you will begin to grow branches. If you now keep to his commandments you will begin to bear fruits and not just fruits, divine fruits. That is why the Bible said in the word: you will be a lender and not a borrower. It is your relationship between you and God that will lead you to being a lender and not a borrower. That is why he says in the book of Psalm 1:3 “And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”
PRONOUNCEMENT:I pray for someone reading this that your life will receive more than you expect in the name of Jesus.
Your life receives value according to what you are listening to. Your life receives value according to what you believe in, what you have faith in. What you are addicted to, determines the value your life carries. If you are addicted to drunkenness, if you are addicted to the word of God, if you are addicted to hatred, they all determine the value your life carries. You can be financially rich or wealthy but you are valueless. Sometimes you face some trouble, you feel empty. Let me tell you, God is there with you, you are not empty. In the prison, it is written that even in the prison God was with Joseph and he showed him mercy. In that emptiness of yours, what God needs from you is to recognize him and handover that situation to him.
God said in the book of Isaiah 49:15 which says: Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. And in verse 16 it says: Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me. God values us more than what we can imagine. When you are forsaken by family and friends you are always cherished in the heart of God. I want you to have that at the back of your mind. Jeremiah 31:3 says “The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.” God loves you in relentlessness, His love for you is immeasurable and infinite. For you to be valued, you must recognize who you are in his hands. You must act who you are in his hands.
Let me tell you something brethren, Satan knows our values better than we do. That is why he is fighting tooth and nail for man to lose the seed of value through sin. John 10:10 says “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” Let me remind you about something, a thieve does not go to empty places or poor places to steal. For God to recognize thieve to steal from you, you should also know that you are carrying a seed of value. There is something great about you. There is something powerful about you and that thing cannot come out except you move according to the commandment of God. You have the holy Spirit in you to bring out that seed of value in you.
When somebody was telling you on Father’s Day that Happy Father’s Day, do you actually call yourself a father? You can be a married man yet you are not a father. You may not have Children yet you are a father. You may have children yet you are not a father. Unless you transform that value of God in your life to your family, you are valueless. If you are no more today as a father, what will your children say about you? What will your community say about you? What will your family say about you? Let me tell you something this very day, you belong to God. And as long as you cling to him, no one, I mean no one can take that from you. His word overwhelmingly confirms that you are his cherished treasure. You are God’s cherished treasure. You are treasured in the hands of your maker. May God’s treasure in you manifest. May you manifest great and mighty things in the hands of God in the name of Jesus. May God never be disappointed in you in the name of Jesus. May your family never be disappointed in you.
I want to let you know this day that God has created you with a great value. When he was creating every other things, he was saying let there be this & let there be that but when it was time to create man (because of the value he wanted to deposit into a man), he said “Let us create man” in our image, in our likeness…that is a great value. I want you to build on that foundation that God didn’t create you to be useless, nothing, God has created you to be something. God has created you to be useful, not only to yourself but to this generation, to people, to the less privileged, to the poor, to the sick, to his church, to your family.
