At El-Shaddai Salvation Family Ministries, There are those who look forward to the message of God on Thanksgiving every first Sunday of the month because of the rejigging insights on the know of thanksgiving—and I am validly one of them. But on Sunday the 4th of October, it was something I have never imagined let alone hoped for—the sea of deeper insights on thanksgiving drowned me till the point that I couldn’t push my pen any longer.
This drowning, caused my mind to kick up dust to every iota of ignorance on thanksgiving that I was dwelling in and asking can one be faithful to what he or she doesn’t have faith in? Where should the preparation of worshipping God begin? Can one give a quality sacrifice without having faith in God? What followed through was the realisation that even when we are yet faithful, God is faithful to us. And would you believe that God is still looking for men like Abraham? Well according to this message titled “Thanksgiving of Faith” preached by pastor Benson Enakhena who described Abraham as the father of faith, the answer is yes.
Enakhena who delivered this message with a passion that showcases/fuels his love for God, told his members that if you want to follow God and prosper, follow God like Abraham. Emphatically, he added that until you do that unusual thanksgiving to God, God will not understand how you love him.
But that’s not all, Enakhena as always invited the scriptures to corroborate the message provided for him by God and continued with keeping the sea of insights rising saying it is not enough for you to come to church—it is enough for you to do the right thing.
