Lionel Messi will face Neymar as Barcelona have been paired against Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the 2020/2021 UEFA Champions League (UCL) round of 16 knock-out phase.

The round of 16 draw ceremony took place in Nyon, Switzerland on Monday afternoon.

Bayern Munich, current UCL holders, will face Lazio, an Italian Serie A side, while Chelsea were paired against Atletico Madrid as Frank Lampard’s side continues their chase for domestic and European glory in the 2020/2021 season.

Manchester City were handed a tricky encounter with Borussia Monchengladbach, who are in the knock-out stages for the first time in their history, while Sevilla will play Dortmund.

Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool will slug it out with RB Leipzig, while Real Madrid will face Atalanta.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Juventus forward, who is seeking his sixth Champions League trophy, was pitched against FC Porto.

The first legs of matches will be played on February 16/17 and 23/24, 2021 while the second legs will take place on March 9/10 and 16/17, 2021.

Monday’s draw comes after the completion of the group stage of the competition last week with 16 out of the initial 32 teams advancing to the next stage.
