South African Tourism and Netflix, the world’s most popular streaming service, have agreed to collaborate on a series of joint ventures that will support both organizations by showcasing stories created in South Africa and shown around the world.

This agreement, according to SA Tourism’s website, will allow for project exploration and collaboration both in South Africa and in key source markets that drive foreign arrivals to the country.

More information on these initiatives is expected to be released at a later date. However, in the future, the partnership will look at a range of opportunities and programs aimed at showcasing South Africa to Netflix members globally, not just in South Africa.
