Weppa Wanno Dance Band, led by Hon.Vincent Ugabi, provided the greatest of music joys to the people of Nigeria’s heartbeat, Edo State, and fans of wonderful traditional rhythms across the most populous black nation, with tunes that are still a joy for many today.

Ugabi, a traditional music god, blessed humanity with life-related profound and deep songs with his variegated voice and a dance band that knew the essence of traditional tunes.

The songs “Emmanuel Mhomo Ye Mhe Re,” “Aremheo’s in Memorial,” “Edanome,” and others are among them.

Classic traditional rhythms from Weppa Wanno, Etsako East local government area of Edo State, are featured this week on Godfrey Times African Rhythms (GTAR).
