From the Olokun Festival to the Goldberg’s Omoluwabi Concert in Ibadan, Oyo state, the exciting and amusing rhythms of the drum world have been a big delight in Nigerian entertainment. Many thanks to Aralola Olamuyiwa, also known as ARA in Nigeria, Africa, and beyond, who is recognized as the Drum Goddess.

The Olokun Festival was filled with the amazing rhythms of the drum world, and the Omoluwabi Day (September 11th, announced by one of Nigeria’s traditional monarchs, the Ooni of Ife) was no exception.

ARA, who is the Oba Obirin Onilu, plugged these cultural events to the entertaining rhythms of the drum-world with exhilarating mastery of the talking drum, cultural dancing skills, and culture-feel singing prowess.

Enjoy these ARA-provided cultural rhythms from via the YouTube videos below this week on Godfrey Times African Rhythms (GTAR).
