Abimbola Idowu who is also referred to as Segilola Grey is a 73-year-old woman who is redefining what modeling is in Nigeria. The beautiful model began modeling when her son Tosin, who is a celebrity hairstylist felt that there were hardly any pictures of old people except there were special occasions.
With an aged mum at home, Tosin prepared his mother for a photoshoot. Even though he had to be very convincing before his mom agreed to do it. However, she has come to love her modeling career, so much that she decided to leave her old job as a traditional wedding anchor.
Now, she has evolved into a professional level who has caught the attention of millions of people all over the world. Mama Abimbola has put a lot of effort and commitment into becoming a professional and recognized model in Nigeria. However, she and her son hope that the fashion industry will be more accepting of elderly models.
