The difference between giving thanks and Thanksgiving is when we give thanks daily or nearly daily, whereas Thanksgiving is a day set aside or selected to celebrate and give thanks to God for everything he has done in our lives, including the things we have forgotten.
On Sunday, November 6, 2022, El-Shaddai Salvation Family Ministry (ESFM) demonstrated the difference.
I want to relive the entire service from praise to Benediction.
Mrs JUSTINA PHILIP led the hymn and the times of praise.
Miss Omo orchestrated a wonderful choreography that the kids performed.
The ESFM drama group performed a play about how we worry about worldly things.
This prevents us from giving thanks to God for all that he has done.
All that he hasn’t done, or he is about to do. Perhaps he isn’t about to do.
The sermon by Brother Emmanuel, the president of the ESFM church, titled “THANKSGIVING FOR DIVINE SETTLEMENT” and it covered Psalm 100: 1-4.
