In their English Premier League (EPL) match at Anfield on Sunday, Liverpool’s strikers thrashed Manchester United 7-0 with a scorching second half performance.
The humiliating defeat is the Red Devil’s first loss in 12 matches in all competitions and the first loss in five EPL games.
The result is the pinnacle of humiliation. Man United had not performed this poorly in any competition in 92 years, since they lost to Wolves by a comparable margin in 1931.
