Last week on Godfrey Times Love Thursday (GTLT), we published the first part of our conversation with Apostle Benson Enakhena, lead pastor at El-Shaddai Salvation Family Ministries (ESFM) on “Love in a Christian Marriage”. This week on GTLT, we bring you the second and final part of the conversation where Enakhena spoke on love, its importance in a relationship, how love conquers secret in marriage and how we must create a heart of love if we want to have a beautiful life.

In this concluding section of the conversation on “Love in a Christian Marriage,” Enakhena described Jesus as the epitome of love, but noted that love requires far more than self-sacrifice.

Below is the conclusion of the talk.

In love, there must be a deep relationship. There is no love when there is no relationship. It’s when love leads to the discovery of no more secrets. There can be no love if there are secrets that keep things hidden from one other. There is no love if you can’t confide in someone you care about.

Relationship is stronger than love. In love, you must let go of your partner’s sins. A person who truly loves you sees all of your positive qualities, even if the rest of the world does not.

Love necessitates attention. Because you only focus on what you love. It’s all about talking about ourselves with love. Although Jesus Christ died on the Cross of Calvary, we will all inherit it. Jesus is the epitome of love. Love entails far more than self-sacrifice. Why? Love isn’t just about making sacrifices. You must cultivate a loving heart if you want to live a wonderful life. Without a loving heart, no man or woman can have a lovely life. If you have any doubts, seek out a sadist or make friends with one, and you will understand the value of love. Extending a helpful hand is what love is all about. There is no love if someone does not extend a helping hand to you. Extending a helping hand when the need arises is very integral. Love is so strong that a man or a woman will carry thorns on his or her legs and he or she will be so quiet and be removing thorns from another person’s leg.
