Nigerians are being torn apart by what is true or false, both offline and online, or even to what is untrue. No, some would say.

Since Nigerians are eager to accept what is fake, and what circulates fast on social media. Yes, others would say.

The public no longer cares about the truth, let alone relies on traditional sources or news organizations that are reputable for their credibility.

False information spreads more quickly than accurate news and information.

As a result, it is now used as a political propaganda tool.

Nigerians will decide the way forward through the presidential election tomorrow on Saturday.

Let’s look at how politicians and their supporters use false information to demonize their opponents.
