What does God’s light allow you to accomplish? What gave Saul the ability to communicate with God? What role did the light of God play when Peter was in the prison? What are the two things the light of God did when the Israelites were in the wilderness when the Egyptians were chasing them? What is the master key that unlocks all of the doors? This message contains answers to these and other questions, as well as much more: Pastor Benson Enakhena’s “Light of God”

Enakhena, who is never without the Holy Spirit’s comprehension, used the tales of Saul, Peter, and the Israelites to demonstrate the light of God and the importance of turning it on first in our lives.

In the adventure of understanding God’s light, the senior pastor of Elshaddai Salvation Family Ministries (ESFM) cited why one must distinguish himself or herself from darkness. But, exactly, what is darkness? You will definitely find the answer to this question in this letter.

But that’s not all; why should we be wary of children who are good? Why didn’t David assassinate Saul when he had the chance? Is it possible for God’s glory to shine upon your life without the light of God shining first?

Enakhena advised his followers to turn on the light first, saying that without the light of God, they would be lost.

The following are some quotes from the message.

Your leg serves as a light to guide you along your way, but it cannot take you where you need to go unless the Lord lights the torch.

What happened when the lord tried to use Saul on his way to Damascus? God’s light engulfed him…he wouldn’t have heard from God. The light of God allows you to connect with God and see beyond the physical realm. As a sinner, Saul was unfit to hear from God. As a result, the Lord had to assist him by encircling him with his light. It was the light that helped him to connect with God.

When the Angel of the Lord came to Peter in jail, he couldn’t do anything until the light of God shone upon the prison. And the Bible says that as soon as God’s light shone upon the jail, the chains and shackles were cut, and the army guarding the prison fell asleep.

God’s light has two effects in your life: it causes you to shine and it puts your adversary to sleep.

When the Israelites were in the desert and the Egyptians were pursuing them, God’s light came and did two things: it became darkness for the Egyptians and light for the Israelites, as well as an umbrella to protect them from the sun.

God’s light doesn’t just come to bless you on a regular basis. It fights your wars on your behalf. It tells you where you’re headed. It helps you to see God’s glory…when the Bible says to seek him first, it means to seek the light. Receiving the light. Turn on the light. You can’t get anywhere without the light of God. He said that we do not need to struggle or run anywhere because his light is present wherever we are.

1: 3 in the book of Genesis And God said, “Let there be light,” and light appeared. God didn’t make anything first; instead, He said, “Let there be light.” How do you think you would become something inside darkness if God didn’t make anything inside darkness, if God refused to create anything inside darkness? How do you think you’ll get through the darkness? What method do you think you’ll use to achieve inside darkness? If God has said no.

And God’s light is the master key that unlocks all doors. We undermine light in the same way as we undermine keys. Most of the time, we disregard our house key; we return from an outing and toss it on the table; we value our phones more than the key. However, if you misplace that key, you will be unable to move your car or enter your home when you return. Then you realise that the key is more important than the phone you’re carrying. That is how God’s light is. When Satan attacks, you’ll realize that the light of God is the master key you need.

As I previously said, the light will not be present; rather, you will be the one to distinguish the light from the darkness, as the Lord did in verse 4. Without darkness attempting to encroach, there is no light. You must distance yourself from the darkness in order to succeed. Darkness may take the form of sin, covenant, curses, evil, can be something threatening you, or you committing sin with your hand. It becomes a darkness.

Take, for example, Isaac’s single fearful sentence. Do you understand that some of us sin because we are afraid? Joseph refused to be afraid, and he was imprisoned. However, the Lord followed him. Do you remember that Pharaoh did not imprison Joseph alone? And God was with him in the prison, according to the Bible. Whatever someone does to you while God is with you, he or she is doing it to God. That is why He told Abraham to leave his father’s house and to bless whoever blesses you. I will curse whoever curses you. When God is with you, whatever someone does to you, he or she is also doing to God. That is why we must exercise extreme caution when dealing with righteous children. For whatever you do to them is also what you do to God. You will never get away scot-free; if you bless anyone, you will be blessed. You would be cursed if you cast curses.

That’s why David was so cautious about Saul. He was a king anointed by God…I would not use my hand to destroy this anointed one, no matter how he has sinned against God. Even though God had placed Saul in his hands, he refused, cutting his robe and walking up the hill, saying, “Saul, God has placed you in my hands, but I will not.”

When witches reach a house to strike, they set the light bulb on fire. In the dark, they have a lot of control. When you see a wild animal, it prefers to hide. An innocent animal, such as a goat or a foul, is seen playing in public. Since they are lights, they play in the morning. Have you ever seen a snake slithering along a highway? Since they are in the dark, they pass quietly. Something you can’t do in public is considered darkness. Keep your distance from it. Darkness is something you do to keep other people from learning what you’re up to. It has the power to dim the light of God in your life. And you welcomed darkness into your life with your own hands.

In verse 4, God saw the light and proclaimed it to be good. Wasn’t there any darkness? The darkness and the light coexisted…but God saw the light as fine. Did God say that the darkness was good? But God permitted us to sleep in darkness until today. And, according to the Bible, he separated the light from the darkness…God never said that darkness was good. He never said something good about the dark. You’re in trouble if you have a spiritual darkness inside you. You’re in trouble if there’s physical darkness around you. Even while driving, there are places you drive through at night where your mind will be kept up high before you pass the spot, regardless of the light you are holding.

Isaiah 60:1 “Arise, shine,” says the prophet, “for thy light has come.”

Arise, shine; for the light has come…This means that you cannot arise and shine unless the light has come. And the LORD’s grace has shone upon thee…There is no glory of God that can shine upon your life until God’s light has first shone upon it.

Even the Israelites could see how content they were in Egypt during Joseph’s reign. God’s glory was not with them because they were not in a land that God had chosen for them. The light shone brilliantly, but there was no glory. As a result, there was both darkness and light. That is why I always tell people that they should know who their friends are. When you form a bond, it has the ability to either make or marr you. What kind of buddy do you have? Darkness and light coexisted in Egypt while the Israelites lived there. They had not been separated. The promise land did not appear until God sent Moses to distinguish his light from the darkness.
